Okay, try this dotpet. It's the first one i ever created so I don't know if I got everything right. It's my personalized PieDock, but you can easily modify it as you see fit. ;-)

cool, the PieDock pet works in Newyearspup.
I also was not able to compile it successfully, great job.

Notes:
To be able to activate it with "alt - y" I added this to /root/.PieDockrc:

Code: Select all

trigger key Mod1 y
(my middle mousebutton is broken, now I have a reason to buy a new one ;) )

Looks cool with larger size:

Code: Select all

size 1024
Many thanks for sharing, Mark

Hehe, I see I'm not the only one who tried to get that thing up and running. :D
PieDock is really comfortable if you need to switch between tasks quicky but are too lazy to use Alt-Tab several times. and with the built-in option to permanently add apps to the ring you get the same functionality a tool like Apwal provides for free. ;-)

That looks cool and modern joel! Really slick.

@WarMock I got PieDock running, thanks for package!
It really is more then a launcher you can call it whenever with hotkey for switching windows or launching app, now I see it's not only limited to desktop, very nice!

Really like how this turned out.

A friend took this picture/wallpaper when he was wandering around the Seattle, Washington State, USA, area, and I just wanted to match some colors around it.

Picked a calm icon theme from back in the day from dejan555's site: Shiny stickers.

Did a jwm theme that I thought came out very cool...attached.

Wallpaper is also attached. Enjoy! 8)
