I'm not sure why I like this setup. Nothing extraordinary. But this has been my setup for sometime now.

Just Puppified my little netbook (ASUS EeePC 1000HEB). Left the restore partition intact in case I decide to sell it later (so I can bring back XP... not likely). Decided to go with a 50s sci fi B movie sort of theme. I think this one's inspired a little too much by Forbidden Planet :P

Upup Precise 3991
Made the wallpaper myself
JQ8-Flat-Lite iconset
BlackPup GTK theme
Onyx JWM theme
...and a few color alterations in JWM's Options menu to make things readable...

Tell me what you folks think! Also, if anyone wants the wallpaper, I've got the (older) 1600x1200 version as well as the one shown here at 1024x600... I'll be glad to upload if there's interest :D

Forbidden Planet is really the only one of those I've actually seen.

IIRC I only saw about 3/4 of it as well -- I missed the beginning parts; IIRC I only saw what happened after they landed on the planet where basically everything happens.

I have to say Robby seemed a little dim in that movie, but given that it was quite a while ago and how far tech has progressed... I think I can let that one go. After all, back then the most obvious way to know your computer was on and working was to look at the reel-to-reel tape drive on the side of the cabinet ;)

All of a sudden I'm not sure if I've started a trend or created a monster...

EDIT: I hope the Capitol Building was given an aspirin or two after that scene... looks like it's got quite a splitting headache !! (badumbum)

Saucers apparently don't handle to well when traveling less than the speed of light.

Either that, or, well... I can't imagine the phenomenon of driving without a license to be restricted as a human-only behavior

And I hope that others noticed how much the "Attention people of Earth..." bit, sounded like the Vogon Constructor fleet commander telling us that Earth is going to be destroyed (the old Hitchhiker's Guide movie/series)

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B-WmUMQ ... sp=sharing
You can download that nice gtktheme, jwmtheme and openbox theme in a pet, wdz8.4.pet. This is the new version. Please goto this thread:
http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic. ... 393#671393
Thank you
:D

Edit:
I just edit radiobutton and checkbutton in wdz8.4.1.pet. Same link above.

It's actually hollow and the walls are pretty thin. There's an elevator that goes to the top.
