Listing for Jaunty Woof successfully installed packages

#1 Post by tronkel »

Please add to this thread listing details of successfully installed Jaunty Woof packages that you installed using Woof's packaging system.

Details required:
1. Version of Woof used
2. Name of package
3. Any missing stuff that you successfully installed in order to get the package running, particularly in cases where no missing dependencies were flagged by the package manager.
4. Whether or not the package successfully installed a menu item.
This information database could be useful for future improvements to the packaging system in woof. As a starter:

Jaunty uPup Alpha 6

Missing lib libcurl-gnutils.so.4 - copied from real Jaunty
Menu item installed OK but no icon

Added:

1 - pidgin_2.5.5
2 - opera-9.23
3 - squasfstools
4 - streamtuner_0.99.99
5 - trayclocksetter

Every time I let PPM check for dependencies and have them added.
So I have a lot of lib's installed as well.
Time savers:
Find packages in a snap and install using Puppy Package Manager (Menu).

Pidgin 2.5.5
Searchmonkey 0..8.1
