Laptop: Lenova Y510

4.2 is at RC4 now.
Maybe your issue is taken care of.
Why not try the RC4 now and report if you still have an issue? _________________ Time savers:

It's in the Puppy Projects section of this forum under the RC4 Bugs & Fixes thread, but don't bother. I'll be uploading the Final within 24 hours. _________________ Actions speak louder than words ... and they usually work when words don't!

4.2RC4 Works Subject description: Power down on Lenova Y510 Working
I added a bunch of software on 4.2RC4 which seems to have had problems when being written to my USB Flash drive. (ASUS M3N78-VM Motherboard) when I rebooted I got stuck in a Kernel Panic. It's possible I filled up my 1G Flash or the Puppy Save partition, I'll have to look closer.
