Draggin and Droppin

Im having problems draggin and dropping files to the pinboard (desktop). im using a rox file manager and ive configured it properly but it dosent seem to work. and everytime i click on the desktop, the menu pops up. need help on this

I've noticed it makes a difference where on the desktop icon you click. It always starts program for me if I click on the label under the icon.

no, it is not easy to modify desktop shortcuts directly ... the shortcuts are lines in config files in /root/Choices ... in Windows, for example, desktops shortcuts are files in a special folder, creating or deleting a shortcut means cresting or deleting the shortcut file in the special folder ... rox does not work that way

modifying desktop shortcuts by changing the rox config files directly is possible, but it is not easy or trivial to do
