yes it is......
running wine as root is but I failed to get it to run as a user.
I make sure c:\ is not mounted (has a habit of wiping the mbr ) and avoid programs that use native internet explorer binaries and active x stuff (.ocx files)

By the way I don't do paranoia :D ...I just don't like tempting fate.
I remove internet explorer from windows to make it safe so adding back into wine its well erm in my head...foolish. Why do you need it...there is a site for testing page rendering here

A much safer way is to use a virtual machine...qemu or vmware....you can then install windows to an image file and run any crud that you are forced to do in it

wow impressive selection and and amazing ads :D
I left all the boxes ticked for a laugh

So there is no excuse for having a flea infested systems leech of a web browser at all :D

not so funny.....choose too many and half of them won't get the page in time lol but really useful for web designers
