Good find, thanks for sharing.
I noticed there are several later versions, which are shown in related links at bottom page.

Straight to net connected/desktop OK for me. Only problem is that more often than not (not always) upon booting it decides to leave 1/2 inch (1cm) top black 'border' with the rest of the screen shifted down so that the tray isn't seen. Seems to be ok right up to just before xwin.

Probably because I use a 32" TV as a monitor.

Hello all.

I've been using it for a couple of years without problems... I shared the find on the
French side, but I guess I forgot you guys.

We're lucky that this cyclist took an interest in this 5.4.3 Puppy, because it had been
deleted from the ibiblio and nluug repos. Apparently there was not enough space left
to leave it on the usual repos.

Call it contrary psychology, but I figured it must be good if it's been deleted from the
official repos!

And it is!

Une Puppy du Canada, on va pas rater çà ! Rendez-vous at the forum francophone, for a debate about canadians puppies. Musher0, hurry up and release a Quebec OS of your own :)
166MB : this damned Opera browser refuse operate dowloading
The Twelfth-Night pancake is late, yet we have the bean (my avatar), we were waiting for a canadian Puppy, here it is (english spoken, unfortunately)
But Puppy Can Bike will be appreciated along Tour de France 2016 stages, perhaps the pendrive will be thrown free of charge to the thousands men and women standing along the roads ...
Wireless will allow Abiword 2.8.6 written reports to be sent Musher0 for translation in english. on the 'Sports' section of the Puppy Linux Discussion Forum.

Can bike is ready for 'Le Tour de France'

#8 Post by Pelo »

french keyboard working fluently at first step, that is nice, isn'it ? Can bike is ready for 'Le Tour de France', ready to win, and beat all english teams and Christopher Froome !
Cthisbear, you got nice results at the Sochi Olympic games, but canadian cyclists should participate Tour de France, real nice cycling competition.
Ryder Hesjedal (Canada) Svein Tuft (Canada)... no more
But we are really proud that your sport blog choose Puppy as OS. I would enjoy if french sport clubs do the same.
FYI try associations suscribers, it is an application running with Puppy created by a french judoka for... :) controlling if all members have paid their fees.

canadians could win The Tour de France,

#10 Post by Pelo »

steven Bradbury : i just read the story, :D
That prooves that canadians (Musher0) could win The Tour de France, with some luck.
Australian don't need luck to win in cycling competition. You are one of the best nations in the world. Often our french guys are beaten by your champions : :( for us, :) for you.
About Puppy Can Bike 5.4.3, it's a standard Puppy.
Your 5.7.1 was made more specific to your own needs, apparently.
However many thanks to you using Puppy OS for your cycling friends. I would like Puppy getting out its geek ghetto, i am lost between thousands of Linux programmers :!:
Aparte :
Cadel Evans will be an Australian very popular in France forever.

Chris.
I thought this might be a PL version based on Canadian Cycling routes until I checked the link you provided. I didn't find anything on the web site that indicated what I thought the topic was nor did I download it to check it out. Reading further comments though I gather that Canbike is probably as it sounded.
