No audio Compaq 12XL500 laptop

Hi,
I have installed Puppy v4.1 on a Compaq Presario 12XL500 Laptop (solo harddrive install). I'm having problems getting any sound. I ran ALSA and it shows the soundcard is via82xx 1106:3058 (rev20) and that the sound driver is configured but there's no audio on the test or otherwise.

I'm new to linux but a friend in another forum (non-linux forum but he knows Linux and recommended Puppy to try on my system) told me to run lsmod|grep snd and post the return. So, the laptop info from the System Summary is below, followed by the lsmod|grep snd return.

Any help in getting it working is much appreciated. Thank you.
