pCD is a discontinued project, but the code is still alive as the CD-module in pMusic.
The code has evolved since the last release of pCD, so it would be helpful if you could test your french issues in pMusic?

Continuous progress in process : i try to launch Pmusic with VLC front-end, that would be nice. Feed back soon .

VLC no gui, by scottman being translated, by me, to understand how that works and if pcd could be changed.

yes, zigbert, i run puplite 5.0, that is so nice, lovely Puppy of the past.
Nevertheless how-to make VLC front end launch Pmusic, whatever the version is, remains my goal. That is possible, isn'it ?
VLC front end launches DVD and VCD too, i want to keep this VLC front end, just changing Pcd to Pmusic for audio CD choice..
Nota : i discovered Puppy (Toutou Linux) in 2012. All previous Puppies are new for me, and much more fun than the last Slackos or Tahrpups, issued from woof CE production lines.

About vintage Pcd, it still does better than audacious and other jukebox, brand new issued in our PPM. Pcd shows titles, garbled perhaps, but here. Audacious shows only tracks number. If the cd is for american songs, titles are OK, because Bristish is not with accent. Norvegian, in the contrary, would have national songs completely garbled

Pupjibaro wheezy has Pmusic 2.6.7 available from PPM noarch. Titles are not listed. I must write them. vlc-gtk-2.3.pet: 13 K launches pCD.
