In ye Olde daze when I used the Windows Trojan and virus carrier system, I would tend to use XP in minimalist and default mode/theme as it was more reliable.

In a similar way at tthe first hint of incomprehensible behaviour I drop back to Puppys default fvwm95

When I came across and used fluxbox (with knoppix) it was too radically different for me to appreciate. It is an acquired taste.

Here is one I did earlier:

Fluxbox is great

I've been using Linux for two years now and Puppy for 12 months. I've only just discovered Fluxbox as a window manager. It's fantastic!

I don't know why it isn't the Puppy default. The Meta theme is clean, fast and easy to read.
