Booting from floppy: downloading boot2pup file instructions

i am trying to follow the instructions on puppy page "my pc can not bott from usb...the file i shall be downloading ,boot2pup.img.gz,loks like lines of code.No file to down load..I must be doing something wrong.

It is nice to have people in this world who would not mind to spread/share their knowledge wih he othes.Respect..

the server mime settings for .gz files are wrong (server mime settings often are wrong) ... so to the server, a gz file is a text file

try right-clicking the link and selecting Save Link As... from the menu

when you download a gz file as a text file, it can sometimes get corrupted
