ARM Platform for Smartbooks - will Puppy Linux play? Subject description: Qualcomm and Freescale have the processors and Taiwan has the manufacturers
The ARM platform for Smartbooks is now a reality with two commercial players.
Puppy 2 series (2.13-2.16) have performed well for low-power PCs like the eBox2300 and the Geode. Now it is being bumped up by Barry to 2.18 (Beta).
Will these developments help in porting Puppy Linux to ARM?
(Note that China has its MIPS platform.) _________________ Puppy user since Oct 2004. Want FreeOffice? Get the sfs (English only).

Porting Puppy Linux to the Arm Platform will be a breeze...Especially if you build "Woof" against Debian Lenny, all the support is already there..."out of the box"... . _________________ Dpup Home
