I am having a problem connecting to puppylinux.ca - are they off line or gone or ????

Probably just a server upgrade/fix give it a day or so.

GRRR... and it just gets better....other than .ca being down I just burned my spaghetti sauce whilst looking at editdns and I make my sauce from my garden so there is no replacement..double grrr for sure...cripes what next...Eric

Now that is a serious problem. I would not tempt the Ghods with a what's next statement....it seems they have it in for you already.
