Puppyscreenshot-1.2

Hi,
I have a comp with full hd install of puppy 4.1.0 - anytime I want to take a screenshot, there is no option but only wait 10 seconds. Also the it pops up an ugly xmessage notification. I don't use puppy 4.1.1, 4.1.2, or 4.0 so I don't know how it's done there. But in 4.2.x you'll have already a better Screenshot GUI.
So, I made this for myself .. and maybe you find it useful for (users of puppy older that 4.2)
Careful: It will replace your /usr/bin/mtpaintsnapshot.sh
Regards,
Trio
Upgraded to v 1.2:
- Splash box now counting down showing seconds to wait
Upgraded to v 1.1:
- Added feature of settingwait time to 3 choices 2,5 and 10 seconds

Well done Trio
I too liked the instant snapshot in 4.2
Barry might put that or this in 4.3 Beta (last release was 4.17 alpha)
- which will be out this weekend hopefully
However the specs might already be frozen
we shall see

What's wrong with this...it has been around for while and works in 2, 3, 4 and woof...
You can even make a desktop shortcut to it

I don't see anything wrong, but again I even did not know your app exists....
Anyway, as I said, I made this for my 4.1.o install...if anybody finds it useful .. use it ..
Lobster .. well Lobster.., I am nothing compares to gposil in terms of programming ... so, may Barry uses his app ..

Hello
There's also a screenshot utility GUI with more options, which ttuuxxx started building around
scrot, over in the 214X thread.
Latest version.

Sorry, forgot to mention that the old screenshot using mtpaint is actually retained; second button from the top.

Well I am only implementing what you taught me for others, thanks to you. I made apps to make new users easier in using puppy. For sure, pros like you, ttuuxxx, gposil won't use my apps, what for anyway? You guys' fingers are always on terminal
, or should I say "terminally ill"

Trio nothing wrong with yours, we could of used it in 4.2 when we had issues with the tk one
Would of made a great replacement, This is what the one I came up with and MinHundHettePerro added the adjustable settings
He did a great job with the settings adjustments that came out really nice
He also added another nice feature, I initially made a large and small version for smaller screens, and MinHundHettePerro add that it could automatically detect your screen size and determine which version to display, how cool is that ?
