CUPS 1.3.10

I have a printer listed wrongly in Cups 1.3.10 and cannot delete it. It has the wrong static ip address in the Device URI. The error message is "Failed to connect".
I tried to remove it as rcrsn51 explained in another post by going to /etc/cups file printer.conf. I see the two printers that are correctly listed and work properly, but there are no other printers listed. I have two that are wrong, for a total of four as shown when running cups.
Anyone have any ideas? (rcrsn51 maybe?)
