Puppy 4.21 RETRO Barebones

#1 Post by aragon »

Puppy 4.21 RETRO Barebones is a rebuild of the 'normal' barebones from http://murga-linux.com/puppy/viewtopic.php?t=43924 with the retro kernel (2.6.21.7).

It's handmade, replacing the following files/dirs:
------
iso
------
vmlinuz
initrd.gz

------
pup-file
------
/etc/modules
/lib/firmware
/lib/modules

In the original post you'll find a list of included packages.

Tested on my Lenovo 3000N200. I was able to configure the wlan, install netsurf from the repo , surf with netsurf and create a save-file. So it seems to work.

Download: http://puppylinux.asia/tpp/aragon/421bbretro/
Size: ~ 54 mb

Note:Start with pfix=ram to not pick-up an existing save-file.
