There, try if any of those works...and please post if you found any..thanks
For testing
FOR TESTING 430-pre-beta users:
- Small changes in GUI and fields refresh after adding channel
- A workaround gXine problem in 430_pre-Beta, now instruct gXine to open window to 200% (maximum) at top-left of desktop - you can toggle to fullscreen after that (ctrl-f or from menu)
deleted - use version 1.2 - see main post

hi bro
What (IMO.. beit humble or not ) we need is a database of channels. It could be in the form of a wiki page which anyone can edit. That would save maintaining, a major pain! What do you think?

Puppy Linux Blog - contact me for access
Yeah, that .pet is a good idea, starting at 200% then you can toggle fullscreen. Works fine on my p3

Okay Trio;
Found my mistake with streamsniffer and url's.
MMS mms:// blah blah blah
I was including "MMS" in the url.
The "delicast" site has 1600+ stations listed; plus it tells who, what
and where they are.
Mplayer works the best on that site.
A few working channels from delicast.com.
MMS : mms://85.214.87.175/history-movies
MMS : mms://nyc01.egihosting.com/102741?MSWMExt=.asf
(music)
MMS : mms://media-wm.cac.washington.edu/ResearchTV Live (LAN)

1. Uninstalled:
patch-pstreamvid-mplayer
pstreamvid
And rebooted BoxPup.
2. Installed:
pstreamvid-1.2.pet
And rebooted BoxPup.
3. Ran the new Pstreamvid.
Noticed that a faulty [BBC World News] channel addition was still listed from before the removal of the old version.
I am unable to remove this addition in either the old or the new.
How to do it?
NASA was listed and worked.
4. The display was set for "Fullscreen mode = Off", and the video display window appeared slightly off the top and left of the screen perimiter [no title bar, so unable to maximize, minimize, or close].
Had to use "Alt+Spacebar", then "M", then arrow keys to bring each window back on screen.
Even after this and closing each window, at next run of each window they are again off-screen.

Hi sylvander,
To remove a channel, click on the the channel (highlited) then click remove (trash bin picture?).. I already test and no problem appear
To run with full screen click "on", click which channel, click play, and it will be default for next play, same process for "off".
I haven't go any problem with any off what you stated above.
Thx

1. "To remove a channel, click on the the channel (highlited) then click remove (trash bin picture?)"
I do that, but it has no effect.
2. "I haven't got any problem with any of what you stated above"
Looks like I'm going to be forced to restore the BoxPup partition contents to the way they were recently when all was well.
Will get back after that's done, and the new Pstreamvid installed again.
p.s.
After using Pstreamvid, Firefox has been causing a jump to 100% CPU usage and staying there.
Forced to use "Ctrl+Alt+backspace", then xwin command.
I do that, but it has no effect.

I got a problem when using mplayer only (from repo), not with gxine. The computer hangs, because system resources was fully used. Even if the mplayer is killed.
Not, a problem with pstreamvid, it's only a gui that parse commands to gxine or mplayer.
I think you better use mplayer that rjbrewer suggested.
As for removing channel function, really, I have not been able to duplicate your problem. I'm not with puppy right now, but I will check again later. Anybody has "removing channel" problem?
Thanks

1. Booted Puppy 4.2.1-rc3 off my 1GB Flash Drive, and used Xfe to delete the contents of the BoxPup Linux partition on the internal HDD, then restored a copy of the folder/file contents saved to [a folder on] my spare Linux partition on July 26th.
That took BoxPup back to the way it was then.
2. Rebooted into BoxPup on the internal HDD.
3. Installed MU's version of Mplayer [Mplayer1rc2-Puppy4.12.pet], as linked by rjbrewer.
4. Installed the latest pstreamvid-1.2.pet
5. Rebooted Boxpup.
6. Ran Pstreamvid 1.2
A warning was displayed as seen in the screenshot-00 below.
This is displayed each time Pstreamvid is run.
EDIT: Oops, spoke too soon, now this warning isn't being displayed.
All else is working just fine, no sign of previous problems; added NASA to the list.
EDIT: Now when I close Pstreamvid the CPU usage jumps to 100%, and BoxPup cannot cope [almost freezes], so I'm forced to use "Ctrl+Alt+backspace, then xwin.
Window displays near top-left, and totally on-screen.
That took BoxPup back to the way it was then.

1. " The warning in boxpup like previous? The "&" problem in menu entry again?"
Erm, I think it appeared yet again, and I fixed it again.
I've done this so many times now it has become routine to fix, and I cannot remember exactly when.
2. See my edits in brown to my previous post.
I guess I'll just wait and see how things progress with time.

1. I uninstalled MU's Mplayer and reinstalled the 4 Mplayer packages included in the BoxPup->Puppy Package Manager, then rebooted.
2. The warning of the missing DLL was no longer displayed, but the display windows were once again off the top-left of screen, and at close of Pstreamvid CPU usage jumps to 100% and freezes BoxPup.
3. After I used "Ctrl+Alt+backspace", and interesting warning was displayed above the command prompt [from the previous drop to the command prompt?], as follows:
cat: /usr/local/bin/defaultmediaplayer: No such file or directory.

Sylvander,
You should address those problems to MU and I don't know who's responsible for the one in official repo
Anyway, I play around with mplayer, after a few changing channels, it ate the RAM almost until zero! .. So the computer froze, I wait a while, then the RAM started to lower .. until the computer is operational again
