No luck changing kernel config using woof

#1 Post by HenrikDalby »

I need a kernel that supports posix message queues. I use the kernel sources provided here:

http://puppylinux.com/sources/kernel-2.6.29.4/

I use the DOTconfig-K2.6.29.4-21MAY09-TICKS-UNIPROC config and only change one setting (enable posix message queues). Compile the new kernel on a full HD install of puppy 4.76, install it and see that it runs on the build machine.
Then I make a .pet of the final kernel and put it in packages-pet under woof. and builds the live-cd with no errors.

When trying to boot my finished product, I get the dreaded:

upup-476.sfs not found....

I've tried so many things but obviously there must be something I've missed.
Kan anyone give me a clue ?

where to get woof?

Hi there,

Can you provide the link where you download the woof builder?

For your problem, maybe you want to check your file name on your CD. The filename should be in lower case for all. Linux is a case sensitive program.
