Jules Verne and Puppy 4

#1 Post by walter90 »

I am really liking Puppy 4! I found out about it on the Ubuntu forum when i mentioned I am running off a 1 gig USB device.
I installed it and aside from not really understanding the file system and some of the day to day stuff like copying and pasting I prefer it to Ubuntu.
I dedicated my resurrected laptop (no HD-it fried) to Jules Verne, the father of steampunk and came up with theme to honor him. I feel that He would have liked Puppy out of all the other choices. Granted, I do not know how to actually package this theme but I wanted to show it off. I hope this is in the right place.

the icons are done by the very talented samantha-wright.deviantart.com

edit:sorry, the right file is up now.

i'm sort of a minimalist when it comes to desktops, but that's really elegant . . .

Glad you all liked it!

rjbrewer,
Verne wrote about going to the moon and deep into the sea before it was ever possible so I think the screws fit right in! :D

Oh! Sorry I didn't mention it before. The taskbar is the work of Whodo! It's his Goldenmood. :D
