opera-developer_31.0.1587_i386.sfs
Sfs's of Chrome-based Opera have been available for Fatdog for a while, for example here. As far as I know, only one 32-bit version has been released. I haven't seen it available for Puppy, so here is an sfs of it:

Yep, runs fine aboard 5.7. But like my recent pkgs, yours also lacks a menu icon.
Not a biggie for me, not by a longshot. I would however like to know what the holdup is..
Nevermind.. For your build all I needed was a quick X restart.

pet of pepperflash
Edit: latest sfs includes pepperflash since it's already fat
Can be disabled and enabled from opera://plugins
I swiped libpepflashplayer.so from one of peebee's Chromium+pepper flash pets--I hope that's ok It's located in /usr/lib/PepperFlash/, one of the places Opera looks for it.

Oscar Talks, thanks for that info, but I'm having a hard time finding it. Could you post a link?
If anyone is interested in making an sfs of the newer version for Slacko, this might save you some time, or spoil the fun. In the usr folder extracted from the deb:
in usr/lib add libgconf-2.so.4.1.5 from debian.org plus a link to it called libgconf-2.so.4
in usr/lib make directory PepperFlash and stick libpepflashplayer.so there
Apply chown root:root and chmod 4755 to /usr/lib/i386-linux-gnu/opera-developer/opera_sandbox
To execute, run-as-spot /usr/lib/opera-developer/opera-developer
EDIT: As dalderton says below, opera-dev works out of the box in Tahr. Just download and install the deb from Opera using Oscar's link. By default it runs as root, but run-as-spot opera-developer also works.

Hello Wognath,
I found it via this page:-
http://blogs.opera.com/desktop/2015/04/ ... -bit-linux
The download link for opera-developer>linux is at the bottom of the list on the right-hand side. If I copy that link it looks like this:-
