T-Sinus 111 pcmcia card driver and installation

#1 Post by d018398 »

Hi,

I am pretty new to the Puppy Community, but like this fast operating system. I managed to install a special display driver when xorg did not have it per defailt. The wireless lan connection with a PCMCIA card (t-sinus 111) seems to be more complex. I tried to load some of the drivers displayed, when doing the connect / load driver tool.

At start-up there is line, that PCMCIA is being set-up. But the card remains dark, after boot is completed. I guess it is simply a driver to be installed, or a setting for PCMCIA to be active.

Thanks for any ideas. I know PCs, but not a lot about Linux Derivates so please advise for "beginners".

Best regards,
JR

Hi,

since I get no reply here - and also have more detailed informations now, I will open another post in the WLAN section.

No clue how I can delete this one here, so I simply add this reply.

Regards, JR
