Norwegian keyboard problem.

#1 Post by sro »

Hi,
I am a new user of Puppy Linux, and I am very happy with the functions.
Have installed PL on my harddisk (on my laptop PC) - booting is with a
diskette.

The first problem I have noticed is that my keyboard does not show
the @ when writing messages in web e-mail and in this form etc
(I have copied it here).
In Abiword however, the @ is OK. Also the Norwegian characters

Hi sro,
the keyboard map needs editing for the @ symbol in the browser.
This cropped up a couple of weeks ago, with one of our Swedish Pups.

Rather than retype the instructions, here's a link to the thread that explains what's happening and how to patch it up.

If you get stuck then post back ( or try and catch someone on the IRC chat who could talk you through it . )
