Dpup Future and Fossil

#1 Post by gposil »

I was intending to put the entire development root filesystem of Dpup on the dpup.org website, ( I still may), but with Barry's work on Fossil coming along, it would be far more desirable to include the Dpup branch in Woof Fossil...then checkout for all branches could be centrally handled...

Please let me know your thoughts on the matter....

Cheers
Guy

I would agree too

It means that Puppy developers are encouraged to use Fossil
and share work.

Going ones own way means possibly work is duplicated, overlooked or ignored. It seems obviously the right thing to do, to lessen these possibilities :)

Fossils means bones? Bones is good.

Update: Barry has put Fossil on hold (Nov 21 2009)
We shall see how we get on with the Google bug tracker with 'Woofy' 4.4
