scanner driver

Am trying to use my old scsi scanner:
Acer Prisa Acerscan 620st (Artec) Color flatbed scanner.
Currently running Puppy 431.
Does not seem to have the Artec driver.
Is there an older version of Puppy that would fit the bill?

There is a driver for this model listed on the SANE pages here:-

When I tried running xsane it gave information on where to find the list of supported scanners and drivers.

/etc/sane.d/dll.conf

Have you checked this file for a mention of your scanner?
