Many linux distros (and other OS's...) have 'Control Panel' software to enable the user to have just one place to go to change the system configuration.
These are often a cause of bloat and can leave a user in the dark about what is actually going on.
Not very puppy. The ease of use that they are supposed to bring is very puppy though...
How about having a 'Puppy Control Panel' that is simply a wafer-thin collection of links to the various configuration utilities and configuration files? I'm thinking of it being a desktop icon and menu item that opens a window and in this window there are icons for everything applicable - bootup scripts, jwm/icewm/fvwm config files, links to the wizards, link to the man html page, pupget, dotpup downloader, browser configuration files, etc. etc...
Just a one-stop shop for puppy configuration.
I think this would be a useful, simple and friendly addition to puppy it would also only take a minimal amount of space as it is merely a collection of links.
What do you guys think?
