SCIM as input method Traditional Chinese et al?

#1 Post by Uikiat »

Hello there dog lovers,
Has anyone got a Traditional Chinese input method working with Puppy yet?
Currently, to input Traditional Chinese, I use SCIM under Mandriva 2006.

SCIM might be worthy of inclusion in the Puppy world in some form; it seems that it can allow input for virtually every human language imaginable and -in my very limited experience- is the most easily customisable Chinese input method available for Linux.

Please could anyone let me know if they have succeeded in getting SCIM working with Puppy, or if they know of another input method to which I could export my customised SCIM tables to.

Cheers in advance to anyone who can give me any "input"
