Thank you for your quick response gposil.

Do you know if other life cam versions work with the uvc module?

Are you content about the quality of your webcamera?
Could you post a webcamshot so people can have an idea what quality we are talking about ... some camera's do work but have lousy collors

thx in advance

exon, from my reading of the Lifecam specs, it would appear that all models are uvc compliant...

As for the quality, the VX-500 is the bottom of the Lifecam range and at only about $20US, its quality is impressive.

A snapshot appears below...I have not done any image adjustment, just used the out of the box settings...

Gposil thank you again for quick response.

the results are realy impressive.

1: works right out of the box (skype, xawtv etc)
2: the colors are bright
3: the price is nice

your snapshot is taken in a very bright room or outside. how does your camera work with less light?

any other puppy user please post your results.
