Any way to use number keypad like in other OS?

Does anyone know if there is a way to be able to use the Page Up, Page Down, Delete button etc. of the number keypad on the right side of the keybaord?
The only way I can perform these functions is to use the other keypad with Page Up, etc. located between the number keypad and the regular section of the keyboard.
Using the keys on the numbers keypad produces only the numbers, like in Windows when you have the "Num Lock" key activated. But with Puppy, the keypad produces numbers whether the "Num Lock" key is activated or not, as well as a dot (.) when the Del button is pressed.
Is there a simple way I don't know about to make this keypad control Page Up, Del, etc.???

In Puppy 1.0.2 there is something about keypad keys in
/usr/share/kbd/keymaps/i386/include/linux-keys-bare.inc
just below the middle of the page, but I don't know what to make of it.
