Well, I didn't find it, but someone on my local LUG found it...

I'm thinking that I've seen the concept before, but for a whole lot less... :roll: :lol:

Yeah that does seem alittle too expensive For that price i could get a miniITX computer with a distro on it.

At US$60 for a 1GB thumb drive plus a Puppy Download, I can get several for the price they are charging... You should see the back and forth going on with my LUG... They are ripping this a new one...

I got my 1 gig cruzer micro for 50$ after rebates i can get 4 for that price WITH differnt Distros on each one.

OSOS Operating Sytem On a Stick would be a more correct phrase.....like saying a 3.5 IDE drive is a computer in a small box heat generating box

yeah thats utter false advertising. If they ment what they said it woulda been somthing aroudnthe lines of a slimline Mp3 player with a OS on it. NOW THAT i would pay 100-200$ for.

There are some tech issues here, with evolving USB standards -- I have not found any good tech details of what is happening.
