Inkscape 0.47 (latest)
Inkscape 0.47 On Puppy 4.2.1
Here is the screen shot after installation on 4.2.1 . I only included the missing dependency list. Inkscape 0.45 was great, but it was time for an upgrade. Thanks for making the effort to package Inkscape 0.47 !

Re: Inkscape 0.47 On Puppy 4.2.1
Yes, I've looked at these deps, however, these are secondary deps, major problem is given by *libgio-2.0.so.0* that inkscape seems need in 4.2.1WN2A wrote:Here is the screen shot after installation on 4.2.1 . - I installed libglib dev
- compiled libgio from source in 4.2.1 devx environment
but i get this error trying to start inkscape
inkscape: symbol lookup error: inkscape: undefined symbol: g_dpgettext
thinking in a my fault in compiling, I've looked for a libgio binary, found on forum and replaced my libgio with libgio found on frtum, but i get same error message:
inkscape: symbol lookup error: inkscape: undefined symbol: g_dpgettext
this needs a further investigation... 0.47 version of inkscape works fine in 4.3.1 but seems need some tweaks in older puppies
replace .co.cc with .info to get access to stuff I posted in forum

This version/package(?) can't open a lot of svg image files. Try opening some examples which come with this package. Here some svg files I recently found which will not open as well:nicu - a window to my sucky life: Spread ODF - web buttons
