This is an important question so I am answering it here.

NO - SFS's (and TCZ's) that are mounted with SFS-TCZ_Linker only put symlinks of the packages files into Puppies filesystem. Thus, if you remaster with a package loaded you will get a bunch of broken symlinks included in your remaster. (This I have not done so am speculating.)

YES - If, on the other hand, you load an SFS with Bootmanager at startup the package files themselves will be placed in the Puppy filesystem. When you remaster you will have the complete package installed permanently. Although you will have to make sure that the /root/package and /etc/package components are there during the remaster by editing /tmp/root and /tmp/etc.(This I have done so know of what I speak.)

Browserlinux Chrome is also pretty small

puppymartin announceda 4.3.1-based Browserlinux that uses Chrome. It's 73 MB for the .iso, to be found at http://www.browserlinux.com.

It has very few apps in it, and I have been able to use it in a VMware Player 3.0 machine and install VMware Tools to it, with the appropriate devx-431.sfs and kernel-xxx.sfs. He also has a Firefox version.
