Try a new grub install from your live distro cd, check the menu.lst in the boot/grub folder before shutdown.
Also i always install grub to the mbr of the hard drive.
I think error 22 is a missing partition.

Thanks. Reinstalled and booted just fine.
Now to just learn how to install things (FROSTWIRE) does it even work on puppy.
Also, is java and flash installed by default?
Thanks.

If you have Puppy 4.3.1, Java is not installed by default.
http://www.wellminded.com/puppy/pupsearch.html
Then search for Java in apps.

If you are using SeaMonkey web browser, you may have to enable java in your browser from the menu bar

puppy 4.3.1 uses pet packages. so make sure it is jre-x.x.x.x.pet
