Trouble with SFS and PET files (Solved)

#1 Post by jim_anaconda »

I am running 4.3.1 and I am having trouble with some pet files and cannot get puppy to recognize SFS files so I can exspand my apps. I am really trying to install openoffice but have not been successsful. Any help would be appreciated.

a SFS file works better from a Live-cd operation. Also have you made sure that you downloaded a sfs4 version of Open office and not a sfs3 version.

then if you have the sfs4 version place it in the home directory. Click on it and navigate through the directory

opt
openoffice
program
scroll down through that directory and click the soffice file. It should load and start after a few seconds.

when finished with openoffice close.

Then go back to your home directory and click the openoffice sfs to unmount it again until next time.
