Belkin Wireless G Notebook Network Card

#1 Post by M.Gregg »

The card is working now. It is running 128 bit wep.

I loaded wifi beta 2

I then configured the profile config.

TITLE1="home"
IP=""
GATEWAY=""
ESSID="[network name]"
NWID="[network name]"
KEY="##########################"
MODE="managed"
FREQ=""
CHANNEL="0"
AP_MAC=""

TITLE2="autoconnect"
IP=""
GATEWAY=""
ESSID="hotspot"
NWID=""
KEY=""
MODE="auto"
FREQ="2.437G"
CHANNEL="0"
AP_MAC=""

Then the wag config

CARDSOC="0"

This is all it contains honest
I open wag and run wifi beta to load the driver.
then i click the home net config button(no open networks show at this point).
I then close wag and open Lan network config tool (yes i do mean LAN config tool).

Wlan0 show if the wireless net is available.
i do test Wan and then dhcp from there.
it worked.

So i hope someone gets their card working.
regards
Michael
