I have had success with an Epson Color stylus 740 Printer with Puppy linux from Vers. 4.0. When I load (live) Puppy, I ensure that the "740" is switched on, then when I configure the Internet, I goto Cups to see if the printer is recognised and can be configured. I wish that I could do the same for my Brother DFC-115C, multifunction
printer. Cups does not recognize it, not even Brother MFC-210C which is the suggested driver for the 115C . I can get it to print in Mint Linux, but not scan.
Hoping this helps.
