As BarryK recommended Seamonkey 2.53.1b1, I tried it - works well - better than 2.49.5 & most of my streams work (not Netflix).
(For aussies, Kayo sports now works, although 'browser unsupported' message appears; iview still doesn't work. Sites that were laggy in 2.49.5, i.e. theage.com.au run properly.) One thing I did need to change was Edit/Preferences/Appearance & set Regional settings locale.
** SUPERSEDED ** 2.53.1 final released.
Seamonkey 64bit 2.53.1b1
