Gimp 2.4.6 With python, sdl,Raw image extreme version |
|
One of our forum members who does some graphics for puppy needed a version of gimp with python-fu so I spent the whole day compiling this package, Its a all-in-one 25MB pet package, lol the reason why I didn't compile a newer version is because puppy 4.0 is dated and issues with glib/glio etc.
http://www.smokey01.com/ttuuxxx/4-Series/Gimp-Python-pkg/gimp-2.4.6-i386-python-1.pet
extra addons
15 python-fu plugins
DBP is a simple batch processing plugin for the Gimp - located in the Xtns section.
the following are included in the package.
babl-0.0.22-i386
gegl-0.0.22-i386
gimp-2.4.6-i386
ilmbase-1.0.1-i386

libopenraw-0.0.8-i386
libwmf-0.2.8.4-i386
openexr-1.6.1-i386

pygobject-2.14.2-i386
pygtk-2.10.5-i386
SDL-1.2.13-i386
dbp-1.1.9-i386
python-2.5.1-i486 <---thanks mu

Hello ttuuxxx
Just wanted to publicly say thank you very much for this,
i really do appreciate the time and effort you put in to making it.
I have given it a bit of a whirl in my favourite Puppy-4.00,
and so far everything (Python plugin wise) appears to be hunky dory.
You are a SuperStar, seriously mate. ..
Thanks from the Cat that got the Cream

Hi guys since this is really the only Python version of gimp for puppy maybe after you find a bunch of scripts maybe package them up and post them here so others can enjoy them, That way they are together with the Gimp download and would make it easier to locate.

Just use the text tools to add the link text/URL to the image (as text). You can't have a clickable link in an image, however (or something that automatically calls up the web browser and loads the page just by viewing the image). You'll need to set up an actual HTML page, for that.
