Thought it might be a good idea to write some of these down as they occur to me. I'm a recent convert to Puppy Linux as of 2-18-2010 have been using Puppy Lighthouse 4.31 as my primary OS and loving it.

Something I've noticed since being here on the forums is that there is just about a 'pet' for every thing. I was thinking if we were going to promote puppy we could do it in a similiar way as the advertisers and marketers do for the apple iphone.

with the catch phrase, "There's a pet for that." as opposed to "There's an app for that."

Also I was thinking of those Hello I'm a pc...I'm a Mac commercials...after the PC and Mac introduce themselves...in OUR ad we could have a giant puppy similiar to 'Lockjaw' from the Fantastic Four comicbook series drop out of the sky with a 'Whomp' sound effect totally crushing the Pc and Mac Guy.

Replacing them sort of like the Wizard of Oz scene where the house fell on the wicked witch. Then we could have a chiwahwah (I know I spelled that wrong) pop out of that scene ala 'Porky Pig' style from the Bugs Bunny cartoons but instead of saying 'that's all folks' he says 'ehlo' (hello) using the sound effect from I guess puppy 4.31 (Lighthouse version) startup sound that says, 'hello'.
