There are 3 iso's used for anitaos based on Gpup, 4.12 Barebones and Gpup4.12 with xorg 7.5, Using woofy I have now remastered each to include basic updates like glibc2.10 and gtkdialog4, updated ffmpeg and SDL libraries etc. Other than that still base barebones iso's updating/building process simplified details at sight wiki.

Hi Anitos users big news I have created new LT (Long Term) iso releses that you will find here

I have decided to concentrate on Gpup SMP kernel iso and non 4.12 barebones based iso and have dropped the 4.31 based barebones iso as Gpup does the same job.

As always please read the Wki first by the way in the same folder as these iso's there are 2 updates that need to be installed post instalaltion as they work best that way all tools like deb2pet can be found back in the tools for anitaos section by the way these iso's contain customised wallpapers some of NZ

By the way the Frisbee wireless/Wired network manager is installed by default to make connectivity easier.

Latest seamonkey 2.24 added to Internet section - It installs to /opt/seamonkey/seamonkey

Please edit the browse icon on your desktop as follows (as this version creates no menu entry).

Right click on it and choose open as text and create the following entry
#!/bin/sh
exec /opt/seamonkey/seamonkey "$@"
From the file menu click
save

Added Opera and QTWeb to Browser section.

Hi, Darry. Bit off topic but I know you worked on updated libraries for Puppy 412 which can be downloaded from tuxtoos site. I would like to know which newer versions of puppy's native programs can be used with these updated libraries and also any other you would like to recommend. Thanks in advance.

which one?

Thanks for the updates, darry.

Some ISOs are labeled by XOrg number (7.5) while others by Puppy version (432) or SMP/nonSMP.

It will be less confusing if labeling is consistent (just a thought).

If the ISO has 7.5 in the title it is using Partsman's xorg upgrade Xorg 7.5. If the ISO is labelled non-SMP it is based on 4.12 with the standard non-SMP Kernel if it is labelled SMP it is based on GPup with it's SMP (Symmetric multi processing) enabled kernel. I am also using Puppy Linux 4.32 hence it being in the title.

By the way standard AnitaOS ISO's use Xorg 7.3.

AnitaOS is Puppy 4 based not necessarily 4.12 based especially the experimental Cooking ISO's.

I have posted up some new Retro builds of AnitaOS using the older and smaller Xorg 7.0 as used in Puppy Linux Classic 214X which will be beneficial for some really old hardware.

It is smaller and less ram is used. As usual 1 ISO is SMP the other is non-SMP. You will find them in the Stable ISO section here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/anitaos ... %207.0%29/

darry1966 has posted watchdog's update to Openssl - found this out as I use his 4.31 version and visit his site regularly.
