Way to set <default> for gtkdialog ComboBox?

#1 Post by sunburnt »

Itried the Combo text for that line and I tried setting the array index number ( starting at 0 ).
Nothing worked, this is as I remember gtkdialog to be from years ago...
I suppose I could rewrite the Combo`s list to put the "selected" one at the top of the list. :?

sunburnt,

Yeah, it would be nice to have an index. Zigbert has the workaround below with a config file setting.

See item 5 on config files.

Cheers,

See the file, benconf, I sent you in a PM.
It has a combobox and remembers your selection from the dropdown list for the next run.
I used it as an example in how I set up driveman.set.gtk3 to save the settings file.
The example file Benefits of a configuration file does not work as written.
I told Zigbert how to change it, but it seems he never did in the examples.
My modification to it in the benconf file does work.
