I managed to run my WLAN-USB-STICK

It´s a Netgear MA111. Great

Now I´mlooking for a way to run the 4 lines with commands at every startup sequence from Puppy.

thanks for your help. (I found the resolf.conf for DNS but not any ohter files for following lines:

modprobe ndiswrapper
ifconfig wlan0 channel2 essid Vienna mode managed
ifconfig wlan0 192.168.0.15 netmask 255.255.255.0
route add -net default gw 192.168.0.1 netmask 0.0.0.0

with this 4 lines I bring my puppy into the internet with a very old Compaq laoptop... where should I "park" these lines correctly?

thanks
KARL

Try putting the command lines in /etc/rc.d/rc.local

I put these lines in the file you mentioned.

Afterwards network configuratin is done for 50%.

the script DID the "modprobe ndiswrapper "

but NOT the ifconfig´s ....

Any other place where I can put them ?

regards and many thanks for your help
Charly
