pup_save_crypta on a CD Sub_title: pup_save_crypta name is too long to fit on CD
I want to put an encrypted save with my custom puppy on a CD, but the pup_save_crypta name is too long to fit on a CD. I tried renaming it like a regular puppy save, but it wont open, also tried loop mounting it, but couldn't do that either.
Anyone know how puppy knows the pup save file is encrypted? Any workaround to pup an encrypted save on a CD? Any way to make up a new extension that puppy would treat as the pup_save_crypta?
Then I made an encrypted save. Before burning I inserted the 2fs in the root of the puppy remaster folder. The filename size is not truncated (when it isn't brought in from a folder included in the remaster).
After burning the crypta fs can be used on boot like normal, or if not mounted at boot it can be mounted just by clicking on it thanks to Pizzasgood.
