Installed Open Office. On the menu but it won't start

#1 Post by olewilly »

Hey all.

I am new to Puppy Linux Live CD, and I am very glad and surpriced how good it is.
I have installed many extra programs. Every time i finished downloading and installing them I have rebooted my Dell Optiplex GX200 and afterwards tried the installed program before i installed a new one.
But after having installed Open Office and now it is in the menu but it will
not start. How come ?

Possibly not enough menory - how much do you have?

Possibly not enough space in pup001 (after all you have been loading all those progs) - try here:

start / utilities / resize

Please copy the message in this forum.
Select the text with the mouse, then middle-click in the new forum-message to paste it.

Also run the comand "df -m" in a console, and paste the resulting text here.
