Graphical passwords for better security

#1 Post by Flash »

Maybe this idea could be incorporated into a boot splash image.
"...Instead of entering a password consisting of numbers and letters, the user selects areas of a picture, called "click points," which are easier for the user to remember and, due to the somewhat random selection process, more difficult for someone else to guess..."

Your pasword could be "Pet Puppy" or "Rub Puppy's belly" or "Pull Puppy's tail" or "Feed Puppy" or "Tickle Puppy" or..............

You could also combine them. "Rub pet poke" or "Poke pull pet" or "tickle tickle feed" or..........

Some banks are already introducing this. No puppy pictures, though. It confuses the heck out of programs designed to remember passwords.
