LAME 3.98.4

I have attempted to compile the most recent build of LAME, which appeared to work and allowed me to create a PET, but for some reason Puppy 4.3.1 ( official ) tells me LAME3.97 installed. I did install the older version and attempted to updated with my compiled PET file but with no success.
