Christmas is coming! Along with it are all the sales that are coming with new items added to your home's arsenal of useful stuff. Much of this stuff will talk thruout your home to other things in your home using Wifi; like your Puppy Linux(s) and etc.
It is often difficult to perceive what any of the Wifi standards actually mean, in operations, for you in your home and your surroundings.
In helping someone else, I thought this writeup useful, clear, and makes plain why the current standards are in place for us.
Most importantly, the article can open ones eyes in how to select a home router/modem and LAN cards for ones personal needs and uses, to "future proof" your Wifi usage.
Hope this is helpful in your planning as this unfolds in our lives.
