Using rescue CDs to ferret out malware is a great idea, in theory at least. Getting them to actually work is another story. Don’t make the same mistakes I did.

Problem with that list is that none of them are really "rescue cds". They are dedicated anti-malware/AV cds which I wouldn't really qualify as a rescue cd to diagnose and repair a system that is having issues unless you know for a fact that your issue is a virus/malware.
