EPIA M10000 can't boot from USB?

Trying to get EPIA M10000 to boot from USB pen drive or Flash card. Followed instructins on LiveCD, and using USB-HDD for BIOS first device.
Get Missing Operating System. Tried other USB options...no help. They give Boot Disk error, so I think USB-HDD is right one. But need some sort of a Puppy Grub? Or something I can put in a config file?
Puppy Linux is 1.0.7, the latest.
Please help
