burn fails after installing gimp - directories too deep

V1.0.3 - after I install either firefox from the mozilla installer or Gimp from PupGet and then reboot to burn the new track I get an error message that says something like: directories too deep on /.usr/

After that the burn appears to want to start but then fails. The burn will succeed if I just make minor changes to puppy.

Kirk
PS. Thanks for the great distro

What changes?

I should have been more specific. It will successfully burn if I just install a small program like skype or if I browse the net or change themes, etc.

I believe it's the programs that have long directory structures like gimp, firefox and thunderbird that cause the problem.

I did a little digging this morning and found this thread which better explains the problem and gives a solution: http://lists.debian.org/cdwrite/2004/01/msg00007.html

Kirk,
That's interesting...
well, need to try it...
/tmp/rc.reboot is the shutdown script. It can be edited, but the editing will be lost at next boot.
So, can try the "-D" option in mkisofs.
mkisofs already has the "-R" option (Rockridge extensions).

Thanks Barry.

The -D option appears to be working.

Okay, I guess I can put it permanently into rc.reboot then.
