Yeah... Damn Small Linux used to be a major competitor to Puppy, but now its latest version is released back in 2008.

In fact, I had a try on DSL a few days ago... and my experience can be summarised down to its abbreviation: Damn it, you S***ty Linux!

A time ago I decide to try DSL...
I still remember my monitor screen showing dark stripes and the low functionality level... Yes, only 50Mb of DSL (Depressing System based on Linux).

During its time, DSL provided a small starting base for a Debian Linux install to hard disk, so it was useful for people using old hardware and wanting a hard drive Debian install.

It's still a Linux, and it's the best of the small Linuxes until a better one comes along...
